I grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago. I developed a great work ethic by working in real estate offices. In the meantime, I was also taking accounting classes at Moraine Valley Community College. I was later employed by a major steel company working in accounts payable and human resources. In 1998, I was offered a job in Tomah, Wisconsin, and since it was closer to family, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. I have been in Sparta ever since. What a change from the fast paced city life! In 2001, I married my husband, Jason, and we have three beautiful children who are now all in school. We are a very active family, and we stand by the saying, “learn something new every day”. My family has always supported me and my career, and I’m thankful and lucky to have all of them in my life, because without them, I wouldn’t be as successful as I am today.

I am no stranger to the local real estate market, from the Mississippi River to Petenwell/Castle Rock Lake areas, having spent five years as a REALTOR. I attended the Texas Auction Academy and that was a great experience. There is nothing I enjoy more than learning how to extend my business. I rarely pass up an opportunity to educate myself. Staying focused on new technologies, I always have new strategies for advertising and thinking outside of the box. To help with the new innovations of the World Wide Web, I hired Stacy Brandau as my assistant in 2006. She helps with new ideas for my personal website, as well as keeping it updated constantly.

Well Hello and welcome to my bio. I'm so excited that you're here. Before getting started, let me introduce myself. My name is Lisa and my husband is Jason. We have been together since 1991 and have three beautiful brown eyed daughters. Ages: 17, 11 and 9. They are my world! Communication and Honesty is the key :) Jason grew up here in Sparta/Tomah till age 12 and I grew up in Largo, FL where we met as highschoolers! So I'm the transplant ~ over 9 years now ~ which by the way I really love!

I have been working with Markim Realty since April 9, 2003!! I feel I bring my energy, knowledge and strength into the work that I do for our clients. I love maintaining the behind the scenes information for all listed properties and handling all the computer issues that may arise. My computer experience started when I was 3 years old... Yes... three years old... My uncle was a computer genius and taught me almost everything I know and much more! So needless to say... I am a computer fanatic! You got an issue, come see me :)

I am currently a cosmetology student and in my spare time I love to play with my kiddos, read, watch movies, play games, garage sale and Belly Dance. I have been belly dancing since 2003 and it has become one of my favorite hobbies!

I am also a total smiley face fan. Love the yellow "original mccoy", pretty much have them all over, from the toilet to the car! But I am not one of those that you would find their collection everywhere ~ just little things here and there.
